Re: Official PR "rate my cooking" thread.

Thanks. :) I had it with water and the scotch as desert. I dunno if she has better taste than me. I do pretty much all the cooking in the house. Her signature dish is chilli con carne with dark chocolate in it which tastes weird to me. That is the way to do it I haven’t tried it with chocolate but ...

Re: Official PR "rate my cooking" thread.

Nothing wrong with a couple of fingers of Scotch afterwards but I'm a big fan of either contrasting or complimenting the flavours of a meal.

In my previous life as an area manager of a chain of bottle shops, I did some fantastic food matching courses. It's part of the fun of planning a meal.

I would eat that steak, Mog. But it needs a full bodied red wine and perhaps some green beans cooked with garlic and pine nuts for crunch.

I'm not usually a fan of t-bones but that looks delicious.

So NZR come out a few months ago and start banging on about how South Africa are out of Super rugby and if Aus want to join the new competition then they can apply to have two teams in it etc, and are now surprised that they seem to be getting the thin end of the wedge over the RC, seems like Mr Ro...

The fact that they were the only 3 players in Australia who didn't take a pay cut speak volumes about them and their manager. Rodda had also just signed a brand new contract so it's unlikely he was being shafted. Okay fair enough, it shows how much I know about this. I had assumed it was organised ...

Based on the sensible idea of taking experience into the starting XV for the first game, and blooding some tyros from the bench, and also with no overseas players (the two games in NZ out of the window anyway) I expect Rennie to go with something like this. My mate's son gave up playing after U15. He was getting injured too much and they were paying him $30 a match to ref young kids. So he started reffing.

He does about 4-5 games a weekend now from club to school. Earns some good dosh and still keeps up his training.
