Re: Aussies - Hillsong church

I’ve been past their temple place in baulkham hills. It’s a vast expansive campus-like property. I get the feeling they’d call the police if homeless people in cars rocked up in their car park. Their whole thing seems to be, "blessed are the rich". It's a wonderful business model. It's prosperity g...

Re: Wallabies v France July Tests

See how the Poms feel about it if one of the Lions gets wrongly red carded in the next few weeks. It's pretty easy to sit there and pontificate about the state of play in the southern hemisphere when you don't have a dog in the fight. MK was sent off, wrongly, and his team had to play with 14 men. ...

Re: Aussies - Hillsong church

I’ve had the misfortune of attending the gold coast hillsong church a few years back and more recently the large Glow church due to extended family commitments I couldn’t escape. My memory of Hillsong was the long and overly enthusiastic tithing pitch and the terrible loud musical performances and ...

Some of you might recall me talking about my Dad re-marrying after my mum passed on and how his new wife was deep in with a Pentecostal church. Well, we've done some digging and it turns out her first husband was the son of the guy that started these kind of churches in Australia. He sold out/partne...

The thing with kiwi refs you have to understand, is that they’re just kiwis. Deep down we all know they probably lurk on FB, waiting to comment in ba...

For me, it's the inconsistency. Valetini was binned for 10 minutes for a similar tackle in the SR final, albeit MK was running harder.

The 20-minute red card is exactly what is needed for these line-ball incidents.
