Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread

As a chiefs fan I couldn't be less interested in the whole headdress nonsense However I would comment that the worried Waspies might be better served in terms of improving quality of life fretting about their club actively promoting gambling, given the casino on the premises, which has far more dele...

Re: Exeter Vs Leinster

Gulf in class today. Hopefully a big wake up call for a few Chiefs players and coaches. That really should be a huge lesson today. Pack went Ok by and large, but the backs let them down so often, they just ask too much of their forwards time and again. The quality of passing and decision making was ...

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread

It was the perfect denument to the game. Exeter were stupid throughout not kicking points in the first half, then scoring right in the corner at the end. Ref allowed a lot of stuff at the breakdown, which is fine, but it's not conducive to a good watch on a pitch like that in the rain As a chiefs fa...

That was a shambolic finale. TBF Nig got there in the end Fair play to Nigel Owens, absolutely no panic and complete clarity about the time at the end as he discussed it with the TMO to ensure the right decision. From a chiefs pov I'm gutted Saracens aren't there.

Would have been a great way to finish them off once and for all.

Same tactics for Racing I'm sure. Run them off the park. Should at least make for an entertaining final, unlike that dreadful first semi.

All ruined by the whistle. Monday's ref meeting could be a long one.

Really hope all parties can get their arses in gear asap, as the game is unwatchable at the moment

Rob Baxter is a good bloke. marked contrast to Gustard gesticulating in the stands. Right result, even if ref did over compensate for his howler in the final 5 mins. Chiefs got lucky all game at scrum time, so can't really complain about the ending, even if a few calls look harsh. We are severely w...

Simmonds has allegedly been told he has no international future by EJ. Actually a poor reflection on Jones, as the backrow is all about balance, and the role Simmonds was given was not balanced. Players will be able to be paid their agreed wages if they are relegated, as there is no cap in the championship.

Maybe the players have stood their ground? Would be a good time to do it given where we are in the RWC cycle.

Points deductions are very possible this season, if they are found to be in breach before the end of the season - hence the mid season audit. However, the final cap spend can't really be calculated until the end of the season, when all the credits and bonus payments etc are totted up, so more likely...
