Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt

Yesterday was great day until the game started. Brilliant crowd of whom many will not watch anther game of rugby live. Im annoyed it was a one sided fizzed. Never hold these invitation games again. The prospect of an undefeated tour is not far fetched, do the Lions want to tour again here? Id invit...

Pollock MoM for me.
The AUNZ team never really gelled. Every time they looked dangerous there was something screwed up, mostly because they looked like a scratch side.
Lions can’t take too much from that and neither can the Wallaby’s.

Re: AUNZ XV v Lions

Just popped in to my local Uncle Dan's to buy some drinks for drinking this afternoon and evening (going to fire up the fire pit and so forth before the game) and decided to wear my brand new Wallaby supporter jersey ($45 Best and Less version). As I walked down an aisle, some bloke yelled out "Les...

Re: GAME OF THE WEEK: Australia vs Fiji

Let's be honest. Lolesio is shite anyway. Time for Lynagh to step up. But Lolesio was still a major step up from Donaldson and Lynagh. Lynagh is probably the future, but he's quite inexperienced and yet to really shine at Soup level. That's the big question, whether Lynagh can perform in tests. He'...

Feeling very conflicted about cheering for Frizell. This looks like a team designed to belt the snot out of another one. Savour it Clogs. I remember those halcyon days of around 2000 when we were good at rugby, dominant at cricket, shit at soccer but noone cared about it, probably won something in netball, etc.

It doesnt last and soon you are struggling to beat Japan in the world cup.

This thread definitively ages the board! All you children who are too young to remember the 70s or 80s, and too set in your middle aged inertia to appreciate some of the great music from the more recent years. I think its inevitable people have a certain nostalgia for the music they grew up with. T...

Thats really interesting! I had understood that FCAS was the driver in the BESS market. Interesting that you say arbitrage is the main driver. And yes a 2 hr BESS doesnt help there. I personally don't want NZ to ever use the parent rule, the likes Lomax etc who were born in Aus were still eligible because they resided in NZ, even if they were born overseas. Sorry, wanted to be a little more specific - do we know what happens to retail prices with the introduction of long duration storage? Wallabies played dumb in parts but dominated the first half. If Lolesio hadn't had a brain fart, it would have been 14-0 at half time. I just hate how teams try and place loose against Fiji. They love that shit. Revel in it. Tighten it up, play for set piece dominance and the holes will open. Then ...
