Re: Hard Luck England
The bit about the '03 Semi's is unfair. The final was against the all time great England side who are generally considered one of the all time great teams. Yet Australia took them to the end of extra time and it took England one of the great all time rugby moments to win it. Likewise the Japan exam...

Re: Hard Luck England
Typical Eddie Jones affair ain't it? His teams are not known for consolidating any performance they exhibit on the odd occasion. Good for one off type matches( the semis in '03 and '19, Japan vs SA in'15), everything else is pretty meh. Maybe he'd be better as an assistant rather than a head coach.

Re: RWC 2019 Final: England vs South Africa Match Thread
Solid defence and play in the other half, preferably chasing an up n under, trumps a faltering attempt at 15 man throwing the ball around. Not for the first time. Too many mistakes from England and regularly getting pinged in your own half just gifts points against. England aren't exactly known for...

Not to take anything from the Saffa effort, England were completely spent after last week, it was their final. Saffas were fresher coming off their semi. So why do you think England are so weak that they couldn't manage to recover even with an extra days rest? Seems more like an attempt to give NZ ...

Too relaxed??? Did we play like we were too relaxed from the start? Or did we play like we were incredibly nervous? Nah, you played a bit shit, which was all it took for a clinical Bok to take the prize. It was still a tense game and no forgone conclusion until the last 10, while your team emptied ...

England aren't exactly known for scoring tries, so when you fail so spectacularly in the scrum, you're f**ked. There was nothing left after last week too.

A haka is vital component to the having of aura. Good point. As long as world rugby dictates that every other team simply need to stand and just "take it" while the AB's get all worked up you will have the aura. You're free to do whatever the f uck you like during the haka, as long as it is behind ...
