Yup, we were told not to panic buy and stockpile so it stands to reason to head out on Saturday morning for our regular weekly shop.

Re: Crusaders 2020 Thread
I'm all aboard the Havili at 12 option. That gets Will Jordan starting in the back three with Ennor coming off the bench which I think is a better balance to the backline. Dunno about shifting Goodhue to 12 from centre which is such an important role defensively.

Be bad news for the England team, surely. Wouldn't they loan out all their big guns to French, Japanese and Super teams so they have meaningful rugby to challenge themselves with for a season.

Once upon a time the bronze final was used to find the third and final automatic qualifier for the next RWC. Quite liked that idea as it meant something tangible was on the line for the winner. But those were the days when those who missed out on automatic qualification had to play qualifiers such a...

Any good NZ podcasts that have looked at this weekend's game that Kiwi's can recommend? The Cup '19 does a good overview of RWC happenings from an NZ perspective. Doesn't have any star power that the British pods offer - more newsy than banter. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-cup-19/id147...

WR making an example out of Scotland to prevent future uprisings. Doubt they’d have done it with a legitimate Tier 1 union but a Tier 1.5 nation is a perfect target to set a precedent.

I will never believe any more 'insider info' from Grizz, eva. To be fair, it sounds like NZR didn't even give Spark a chance to bid. Sky Television has walked away with the rights to show Super Rugby and All Blacks matches until 2025, after Spark was unable to make a competing bid. NZ Rugby will ta...

Interestingly, before the Namibia/Canada game as canned it was set to only have five-camera coverage (a normal RWC match has in excess of 20 cameras) and therefore no TMO. Negotiations aren't happening until after the RWC concludes.
Let's not forget NZR aren't sure exactly what they are selling. SANZAAR need to decide on what the Rugby Championship and Super Rugby looks like before they ask for offers from SKY and Spark Sport.

On a wider point, I don't see how you could restrict it to Tier 1 players changing allegiance to Tier 2/3 nations because the overall sentiment seems to be that some Tier 2 nations would become Tier 1 with the help of better players.

I don't think you're going to see any worse scorelines by including Japan, Samoa, USA/Cananda in there. And you'd probably need one other from Europe.
