Re: Cheetahs vs Brumbies Match thread
Henry Speight returns to the wing for his first appearance since fracturing his jaw in round 5 when the University of Canberra Brumbies take on the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein. Australia’s top try-scorer in 2012 and 2013, Speight has been limited to just four appearances for the UC Brumbies in 2014, a...

Yes, because that is what happened from the very beginning ? I don't follow your thinking. We had front pages dedicated to Julia Gillards dress sense and her accent. i haven't seen the same for Tony Abbott. Re: The Decline in Rugby
Every lunchtime at my school, we would play touch whilst the teachers were watching and a hybrid rules rugby/league/nfl game as soon as they left the oval. It was great - mauls, blocking, forward passes, and you only had to be onside at the start of every phase. It didn't help me skills wise, but co...

So C Pyne says states need to find the $80B and they have numerous ways to do this. So it's blindingly obvious they want the states to champion an increase in the GSt. However what will the Libs say if they go down a path of lifting payroll tax, stamp duty etc. instead? Wasn't the libs whole premis...

All this "sharing the pain" stuff is just total bullshit. The poor will bear a totally disproportionate share of the pain, especially the working poor, but also the unemployed of course. The Federal Government - either side of politics - should have the guts to do something about wealthy retirees, ...

I expended too much energy trying to get 2nd place and locking up a home final, so threw the semi in order to get a rested team with HFA for the bronze final.
Sure enough, there is a massive upset and 4th beat 1st, so the whole thing was in vain. FML

If they could get a local pro league 3/4 the size of Major League Soccer it would massively change the Rugby landscape. Yeah, it would.
