Re: Sydney Waterfront Public Housing to be sold
It's a shame. Most of the money will go to developers who will make squillions so that every square metre of The Rocks, Only if the development is managed exceptionally poorly, can't rule that out with the State Government, but nobody just straight sells land to developers anymore. an historically ...

There are a lot of Navy assets based in the Sydney Basin.
There no doubt will be eventually a plan to move these elsewhere. Maybe Wollongong once the Steelworks finally goes bankrupt.

Re: Walking Dead Back This Friday....
I thought that review was extremely harsh. However the overwhelming tone of the comments is disagreement. Funnily enough, it isn't even the die hard fans who are panning the review; but people who haven't even been enjoying this season. I'd argue that the comments were mixed, but in any event it cl...

I'd argue that it is too early to write off the Argies. Their form last year was admittedly shit. They have a new coach that is capable of coaching. Through the Pampas system their younger players have been exposed to tougher opposition earlier. Forwards as always are excellent, and their backs have...

It was an accident and one that we could all easily make. Who the fudge looks out the back when they are opening the door to the kerb? Also, the taxi driver didn't put his indicator on. If he'd done that, she probably wouldn't have tried scooting up the inside. WTF?!?!?!?!! Doesn't everyone do this...

Not sure I've ever seen a thread that so clearly illustrates in one easy place who the bored nutcases are. Maybe the Climate Change threads came close to this. We thank the "Russia a rogue terrorist state" thread for this. Not that it's a surprise of course, we know who the loons are. But the threa...

If you offered Sam Burgess to the five NZ Super Rugby coaches none of them would play him at 12; that includes John Kirwan who has the closest NZ comes to a bosh centre in Nonu. . Who would they take? 12t Burrell Tuilagi Farrell at 12 Roberts? Darcy? None probably. I'd be very surprised if the Kiwi...

The Australian 12s are pretty small - most of our 13s aren't giants either. 12s - Toomua, McCabe, Skinny Beale, Godwin, Lilo, Fainga'a, Tapuai, Inman 13s - CFS, AAC, Kuridrani, Smith, Rasolea. Inman, Kuridrani and Rasolea are the only ones who would be over 100kgs I reckon. Most of the others would...

As a side note; I know its a totally different sport with its own permutations, but last match, Sam made 31 tackles and 169 metres in a losing team. Wee before was over 200 metres.
