Re: 2025 Pacific Four Women’s Rugby - 2-23 May
Amber McLachlan was the best female referee in Australia for a few years but she’s been injured for a while and isn’t refereeing currently. Tyler Miller was probably next in line but did her ACL at WXV last year, Ella and Jess are next with Ella making her 6N debut this year.

Tell them to fudge off. That was very poor form. Hope all is well with you and mrs. Yeah mate, we’re doing nicely down this way. The kids are running rings around me, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. Footy is going well and I’m finally feeling like I belong a bit more in the environment which ...

I’ve been around, just not posing too much. Somewhat stepped away when a call I made in a game got questioned directly to me on here so figured I’d just lurk a bit more. Hope all is well down your way. Bloody hell. Bringing things from real life to have a personal crack on these forums is very poor...

Without judgement I had never seen Band of Brothers so I aquired it last night and after enjoying Masters of the air I will look forward to BoB next. Cheers for the various recommendations Thanks for the reminder, I haven’t rewatched BoB this year. Will get onto it. It’s amazing, even made 25 years...

Re: The Training Thread - all aspects of fitness and health
Training has been going well down this way, lots of time on the rower and have shifted some PRs which is always nice. 2km is down to 6:58, 5km went from 19:09 to 18:20, 10km is at 37:58, HM has gone from 1:34-1:26, reckon I could go a bit quicker on the HM. Currently 7 weeks through a 2km training p...

Re: OFFICIAL" Reds are too lazy to start a Chiefs thread" thread
I thought he did well to get up. Good on him. I thought it was worth a yellow. Was surprised the head clash then shoulder to the head before half time wasn't even deemed a yellow. I guess BOK was consistent in ignoring dodgy tackles. True and yes, Lynagh showed some stick getting up and continuing....

Re: The Training Thread - all aspects of fitness and health
Had a “season” goal of taking 10 minutes off my half marathon rowing time. Had enough time this morning to give it a crack. Took my PR from 1:37:17 down to 1:26:57 so boom, goal achieved. Felt really good, did it fasted and didn’t need to take any water or anything on. Last 6 minutes was tough due t...

Re: The Training Thread - all aspects of fitness and health
Training is going well, I’m down to 82kg which is the lightest I’ve ever been since turning 20. Also broke 7 minutes for the 2km on the rower the other day and went under 38 minutes for the 10k this morning. Feeling the fittest I’ve been in a long, long time which is nice. Might try and smash out a...

Re: The Training Thread - all aspects of fitness and health
Going by those pictures I am somewhere in between the 15% and 20%, probably closer to the 20% which is roughly what my scales say every day (19.5 on average for last 4 weeks). I know that the scales aren’t 100% accurate but it’s a little tracker that seems within an acceptable tolerance for me based...

Still rolling around on the erg at the moment, trying to get in at least 30 minutes per day, but most of the time am doing 45-1:20 a day. September stats - 315km in 22 hours at 2:08 avg. Lots of SS in there which is around 2:11-2:13/500 but I also broke a lifetime goal of sub 7 on the last day in Se...

Few erg sessions so far this week, I am trying to up the avg watts by 3-5 per week so aiming for 155 this week whilst maintaining decent form and HR in the right zone. I'll be honest. An erg marathon sounds absolutely awful. At least you get a change of scenery doing endurance events outside. Injuries are shit. No awful than an actual marathon, those suck. I just whack the iPad onto something that I want to work my way through and off I go. Just did B...

Tore my calf at the start of the year, missed 10 weeks of our local season which meant could only get 6 middles done for the year, so I’ve turned my attention to the erg for some fitness and challenges. Ballooned out to 103kg when injured because I have an unhealthy relationship with food and booze ...

3 weeks for that? Not even close I’m obviously speculating but he’s clearly brought the game into disrepute in a big way. A smarter captain or kicker would have motioned to the goal posts and called for the kicking tee. Clock winds down the allowed time to 80 minutes and Foley "shins" it into touch 8) There maybe some law against that but I can't be bothered to see if there is. I actually do think that would translate...

It was about speeding the game back up. During the trial the ball was back in play in, on average, 23 seconds. Compared to 1 minute 35 seconds on average from a 5m scrum. Surely getting the ball back in play quicker is the goal? A scrum is 'in play' ffs Yeah, but I mean that the ball in play is has...
