The fact we don’t actually have an international level fly half is probably a different conversation.

Re: GAME OF THE WEEK: Australia vs Fiji

Kicking has to be a part of it but only as a respite or if a very good opportunity arises. The rest of the rugby world sees it as a weapon, but Australia does it as a last resort. And screw kicking goals - let’s go for the try. We have the collective mentality of under 14 years. Kicking for Suaalii...

Re: GAME OF THE WEEK: Australia vs Fiji

The ABs have traditionally been one of the biggest kickers of the ball. The Boks kick the ball lots. I’m not sure wtf some Australians are talking about. IMO, Oz teams don’t kick enough, and when we do, we generally do it poorly. It’s seemingly a cultural issue. Australia have improved in this area...

Nah, he has neither.. Remember Carter Gordon vs Lolesio saga? Lolesio is very insecure. I’m amazed anyone actually believes that. Re: GAME OF THE WEEK: Australia vs Fiji

I would have White/Lynagh with Tate/Donno on the bench. Hope Skelton and Valetini are back. Start Bell and only one of McReight and Tiz make the 23. McReight for sure. Hooper gets his bench spot. Those halves pairings don’t make much sense. Donno works outside of White because he is quite a talente...

I remember a poster accusing the Wallabies of poaching Adam Coleman. He hails from the little known pacfic island of Tasmania. I remember someone talking about how RA poached Samu Kerevi. Amazing foresight of them to nab him at 4 years old. He was a pretty good poach as well. Although it migh...

Re: Number of Aussies, Saffers & Kiwis in the Lions?

Really, just change the name to the BI & A Lions already. I think they have had a minimum of 3 antipodeans in their backline for every game they’ve played. It’s not a criticism. The Australian team could just as easily be called the Wallabies and Pacific Islanders. How so? Daugunu for sure but most...

Re: Wallabies 2025: Revenge of the Schmidt

Some 'relevant' Wallaby notes from yesterday's game: - Nic White isn't the guy. He's actually played well in SR but it's time to move on to the new generation, with Lonergan, Wilson and Kalani offering more. - Donno isn't a fullback's arsehole and cannot manage a game at flyhalf. He doesn't have th...

It’ll be interesting to see if the ‘tahs miss out on the finals by one point. Choosing to give up a losing bonus point in order to attempt to score from your own dead ball line wasn’t exactly smart rugby.

This is slightly off topic, but I am amazed that boxing is still a sport. A sport where the objective is quite literally to concuss the other person doesn't seem like a mildly good idea with what we know about CTE.
