Re: Wallabies 2024 (2023 never happened)

I’m 53 mins through the Brumbies Blues. Watching a lot of frame by frame with Jtah Jr. He’s playing fly half this year so we’re focusing on 10 play. It’s all been Plumber. As critical as I’ve been of Lolesio, this is not the game to judge him or Lonergan on. Give Jonny Wilkinson or Dan Carter that ...

Lolesio stock certainly hasn’t gone up after that game, probably the worst I’ve seen him play. Completely rattled.

Why did the Ponies ditch White? Excellent tonight.
I think White actually said he felt going forward that Lonergan will be the future at the Brumbies. In fact Gordard is probably better than Lonergan, but that was White's narrative when he left.

Well, it was an away game, so technically they probably shat in the Blues bed. But it's not something to be proud of either way. That was dismal.

Re: Blues v Brumbies @ Eden Park - Today

Just finished watching the match. What is it with the Brumbies and shitting the bed. That is the best way to describe the first 60 minutes of the match. They actually showed excellence in their shitting the bed, an excellence I don't think any other Australian team could match.

Re: SRP Rd 9 - Reds v Highlanders

So Paisami or Foketi for Wallabies? Foketi is only just almost soup level. His international career is because we have been pretty thin on the ranks at 12. And Eddie liked ex-leaguies. I like Foketi and think he’s a smart player. Paisami is having a very good year and seems to be getting better, so...

The South Island teams should consider a merger. Based in Nelson. As sh*t as the Crusaders and Highlanders are this year unlike the Rebels they've both won championships and neither are $22 million in debt. salty! We’ve needed you to do your bit and become a member . Definitely got a bite.

Take the win and especially keeping them naked. Wasn’t pretty. This. Despite playing shit, and missing 2 of your top 3 players, with another going down early, still put 31 on the Highlanders and didn't allow a point. That's decent. Reds definitely showing they will be there at the pointy end of the...

Paisami's size worries me. Lolesio, Paisami, Ikitau would probably be the smallest backline ever. But Paisami has been the form 12 so far for Oz in the soups. Yet he smokes everyone and bends the line. Not sure what you’re worried about. Criticism from townie. My backline would also have Toole, Kel...

There’s some truth in this but I think you’re being harsh. Carter Gordon, Will Harrison and even Ben Donaldson have the potential to be very good test flyhalves. Lolesio could probably do the job right now, but he has a lower ceiling. A couple of years ago we were in a much poorer place. Much bette...

No to Wright. Can't trust him. Put Kellaway there. I used to say the same about Latho, but he came good at around the same age as Wright is. Great performance mostly from the Rebs. Lancaster will be up for higher honours sooner rather than later. Seems like a faster version of Kellaway.
