I'm surprised Bealham and Hansen are starting this one as you'd think they would want (and the media would want them) to play against the Brumbies. The fact that they aren't suggests you're probably right. Hanson is no where near a test side without injuries. Freeman is the 14 I think you've misrea...

Furlong is younger and has fewer miles on the clock. Why do you think Furlong wouldn't be able to recover form when fully fit? Accepted that his niggle might harm his chances but otherwise? The 'trajectory' you speak of is injury not form related. Or are you just talking about the here and now for ...

Bealham wasn't (edit: clearly) ahead last season Nols. Furlong had an excellent 23/24. Particularly the 24 part. He played 26 games, the most he'd played since 17/18, Everyone seems to have blanked it for some reason Yes, but given their respective trajectories over those two seasons, it's highly u...

Most Irish fans would have Bealham close to level with Furlong at this stage (ahead this season but Furlong has hardly played). Only a fully fit and form proven Furlong should start the tests. While Furlong's peak was higher Bealham has been the better of the two for the last year.

Still not clear just how much damage was done to the Fordo, but the strikes were ridiculously accurate.
