Re: Irish famine enabled Irish rugby genetic superiority
We need a famine in Wales.... Was thinking a targeted 2 month famine would do most western countries a world of good. zappa "never struggled a day in his life" man thinks that the peasants need a famine to give them some perspective. what a wit kant. yes you were "joking" i know. Well said.

Re: U.S. politics thread and Donald Trump - Putin's Cock-holster of U.S. Presidents
Duff, on the Irish thread your tune is constantly about us keeping our heads down, that the US is too big an entity to piss off. On this thread you're lamenting European weakness. Which is it? Stand up to the bully, or negotiate to the least worst option? Ireland overplays its hand; the EU underpla...

This will have consequences. Why would the government risk potentially a few thousand jobs to appease a group of people who will never ever vote for them anyway. It’s just virtue signalling. It belongs in the student union. We are very vulnerable we need to be smarter. I disagree, tbh, we need to b...

Yeah, would have thought it'd be more insulting not to. Disagree. The Game is won. Penalty given as last play of the game so just Tap and kick it out. Spare them the indignity of the 100 and avoid any injury risk (albeit minuscule) Dunno, would it not be more insulting to say we're nearing your lin...

Re: Lions Lions Lions
I wouldn't have had Genge, McCarthy, Chessum nor Morgan starting the Tests pre-tour but would personally have them now. Between the likely pack and the halves, there's enough there that I think it highly likely the Lions win next Saturday, albeit I don't think this year is a particularly fine vintag...

I find Milei utterly fascinating. He shares minimal DNA with Trump - he is far more coherent in approach and properly grounded in economic theory. Looking from outside the Argie tent he seems to have done a remarkable job and, frankly, is proving a template that many other countries could apply to v...

Kid was getting me to check the most capped list and I spotted that if they haven't updated for today's win yet then the win today means we've now won as many games as we've lost at international level. 366 of each. I think it would be the first time that's ever the case, going back to the first Te...

Munster J1 or J2 is the ceiling historically. Never been an AIL club from Kerry.
Player and set up wise, Tralee could certainly have gone senior a couple of times but opted not to chase it as was felt the additional travel cost would cripple the club, but they're a long way short of that these days.

There was a veritable fin de siècle feel to that. A number of those lads are either done or are already eyeing up the coat rack. Issue is, the stocks behind them are looking a tad threadbare.
