Re: Jimmy Anderson... world's greatest fast bowler
33 bowlers have taken 300 or more test wickets That is the cut off point when discussing top test bowlers of all time I think. CPI index awards points for milestones. The stats below are well documented career stats 1 point for a 4 for 5 points for a 5 for 10WM is 10 points 15 wickets in a match is ...

Re: Jimmy Anderson... world's greatest fast bowler
Anderson is a fine pace bowler who averages about 12 with the Duke ball in England and about 40 anywhere else in the world. McGrath the greater bowler here. I’d rate Steyn the best pack bowler of the last 15 years and he’s the only one who has CPI stats anywhere near Sir Richard Hadlee who performed...

Re: Bledisloe 2: All Blacks vs Wallabies: MATCH THREAD: Auck
Good win for the ABs but reall6 wanted the Wallabies to keep this annual contest interesting. So disappointing. All Black backrow made 44 tackles tonight and missed 5 vs the Wobblies backrow of 29 tackles and 4 misses. Wallabies with a 65 tackle rate. Rubbish. Hooper is now a passaenger in the Walla...

Re: Bledisloe Cup: Wallabies vs All Blacks: MATCH THREAD: Sy
The tackle stats are so often the story of the game. Thee Wobblies missed 13 tackles in the centres and loose forwards. The AB missed 4 here .. 1 to the loosies. No denying Pocock and Hooper are world class players and turnover merchants. But I’ve it before and the stats show it again. They miss too...

Good on the Scots. But they will be gutted about that first half. They were dominant but stupid errors cost them. Incredible defence from the ABs who once again let ill discipline define their game. A dire game for the Kiwis. They didn’t look fit enough. To think 2 years ago we were on a winning streak vs the Kangaroos and the game looked to be on a real crest in NZ. Wtf happened? A result that will unfortunately really hurt the game here.

Seriously like the squad named for the AB development tour of the Northern Hemisphere. A potent mix of experience and youth. A solid AB year of trophy retention and player development. The bubble has burst a week bit this year with a bit of air escaping the balloon. A valuable year between World Cups.
