Re: HEC Round Three - Northampton Saints v Leinster

Can anyone save us from the mighty Spivs? I fear for our lads here. Just hope nobody gets hurt. No spivery at Franklin's Gardens - we don't have the money Likely Saints team? I predict the Leinster side will be very similar to Lyon, with Fardy and Kearney in for the away fixture. Those two might ro...

Re: HEC Round Three - Northampton Saints v Leinster

Saints have shown they can put on a good show against also-rans, but they've made hard work of tougher games. The chuck-it-about game plan is fun to watch, but I remain pessimistic.

Irish end a decent first half with a stupid needless red. The prem must be close to a record number of reds already this season.

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread

 Bath giving out about injured players is ridiculous given the shape their squad's usually in each season. Leaving Watson on while clearly injured this weekend also reduces the impact of Hooprr's bleat. In defence of Hooper, England have wrecked a few Bath players in recent times - Obano's inj...

Clearest gouge I've seen in a while, not often they get caught in the middle of the match. Stupidest play of the season so far, he just runs up out of nowhere and shoves his fingers into Curry's eye.

Plenty of ruck stuff and forward passes missed in Benetton's favour earlier in the match, people only ever remember the stuff that goes against them in the last 2 minutes.

The timing of the points deduction is gutting as an English rugby fan. It's heartwrenching to know that only one of Saracens and Leicester can be relegated in the same season.

The players concerned in this seem to be skating away scot free. Re: Saracens punished -35 points and £5m

Hoarding of talent isn't even good for player development. How is it better for England's elite squad to have Kruis, Itoje and Isiekwe all at the same club? Or Wrigglesworth and Spencer?
