Two legit contenders for the Cup. Game of the weekend on paper with Leinster v Montpellier. ...which is in the same pool. Crazy group. Exeter 2nd in the league. Montpellier 2nd in the league. Glasgow 1st in the league. Leinster j-3rd in the league. Small sample sizes, I know, but this is a shitty p...

I watched it live, Julian. It was a prescripted piece of pantomime for the peanut gallery of alarmists and fantasists about Catalan Supremacy. I thought of you during the speech and I see you didn't disappoint. The No camp to independence needs a voice. It isn't going to get one on TV3, that's for s...

Well done Ciutadans for going back 10 years to find evidence of "Catalan Supremacy" and coming up with an ill-judged and probably ill-informed paragraph from Junqueras, where he sounds a bit wacko but hardly racist or supremacist. You keep getting stuff wrong, Julian. You keep jabbing the pitchfork ...

He could never really claim independance without a proper referendum in which everybody in Catalonia could actually vote. His own people would revolt. He did what everyone expected and what most people hoped he would do. Despite the hyperbole and outrage from Julian and his ilk, PDCat is calling th...

Re: Celtic Pro 12 teams: any chance at the Champions Cup ?

Usual problem with Leinster is that the team is half cooked with Lions players returning. If they can stay in the competition in the first few rounds then they are a contender. True. That's why I have them as struggling to get out of the group but doing well if they make it out. Injury will hit som...

Best chance of reaching knockout stages: 1) Ulster 2) Munster 3) Scarlets 4) Leinster 5) Glasgow Best chance of winning once qualified: 1) Leinster 2) Glasgow 3) Scarlets 4) Ulster 5) Munster Leinster and Glasgow in a group of death. Don't think the ref influenced the outcome in any way. Every game in rugby history has had talking points but none in this game were deciding factors. Ref did well, he's one of the gooduns.

Re: O'Classico - Leinster v Munster, Sat 7th Oct, KO @ 14:00

Munster tackled well and looked dangerous in attack but they handed the breakdown to Leinster on both sides of the ball. Can't win games like that.

Leinster's backline was very flat and static at times, we need to sharpen that up for a monstrous Montpellier backline who will close down space.

Wales are where were were before Japan 2002. A very good side and improving. And do you remember what happened us after Japan 2002? Best possible squad for Leinster. Would prefer an alternative to Ferg at 23 but there isn't really anyone who gives the right cover.

Asturias does have it's own language, but the example was just to illustrate the amount of Autonomous Communities in Spain that have their own strong sub-cultures, the same as Cataluña. It started well before that with Rajoy. I'm just talking about this referendum.
