Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
There is aparently another player going from Leinster to Munster. I do not have a name as of yet. Reddan or Hagan are the only ones that make sense to me. Think Reddan has another season on his contract, not sure about Hagan. Wont be Cronin for sure. Wouldn't mind Macken. Think he could be a solid ...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
This is not the start of some Welsh style exodus. The IRFU and provinces (with the tax break) can more then hold their own. What we have in this case is that someone who is probably the best OH in the Northern Hemisphere has been offered a huge contract even by French standards. This is more Dan Ca...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
I dont think it would make a huge difference financially. He'd effectively be paying tax of roughly 25% on 500k in Ireland versus tax of 50% on 750k in France. That's a very rough guess but it's not a straight forward he's getting more money in France. He'd also get more endorsements here I'd say. ...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
It's a bit strange how none of the cousin fuckers seem to be worried. There's a lot of talk about how Leinster will be decimated by French poachers, but for some reason no one seems to think Munster players will be tapped. We are holding out in case the Miami Dolphins need ROG. We're ok. Our player...

Boxy ways and means around the tax in France as well, he will be paying no where near the 50% on the 750k especially give that he would not be domiciled there and I am sure that some homework would have been done on that aspect before he had made the decision. Would there be yeah? My "tax expertise...

Pretty much saying what we say here..Munster wont win HEC,lack of strike runners and problems at centre Horgan saying there's problem distributing the ball, basically saying the passing in the backline isn't good enough. Certain degree of validity in that. JJ helped when he came on, he threw 2 skip...
