Re: Rugby NAMA thread Revisited Rugby
I really dont think there would be enough support for a lockdown at this stage. Peoples livelihoods being impacted again while vaccinated people arent getting too sick just wouldnt have the wider community support it had.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
I wouldnt be resting too many front line players this week - it is Argentina after all. In saying that, it is important that Carberry adds to his experience in the first team. I think there's scope for a bit of rotation, we aren't losing much, if anything, by having Henderson and Beirne in the seco...

I think that’s the best i’ve saw Ireland play, ever. The variety we had in our game was unbelievable, trucked it up, tipped/shifted ball when needed to and weren’t afraid to go wide or to the air either off first / second phase 2018 was special given it was us breaking the duck but that was as good...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
What I will say is that there's a comfort on the ball from 1-15 that we've rarely had. Was nice to see Ryan getting some offloads in again. If we try and play the same way we'll at least go down fighting, if we try to control the game and play conservatively, I can't see us winning. We were very go...

Most people, including me, are surprised that Lowe is in the squad. What's worrying is that most people aren't surprised that Murray, and POM are also there. All three should be kicking their heels for the next four weeks. I haven't seen a single person on here defend the POM inclusion. He'd strugg...

Re: Ronan O’Gara - a total liability? A fraud?
Looking back fondly at that Munster team, they probably gained so much popularity because they were so flawed and almost pub-rugby like in a professional world. The half backs were like yappy little door-mats. Centres and wingers smoked 40 a day and were on speed dial to the Chinese. Forwards couldn...

We do alright in individual sports like golf and boxing. Had some good cyclists and middle distance runners in the not so distant past and we'll see more track success as demographics change.

Out of interest, how are the vaccination rates coming along in NZ? Spent plane fuel is CO2 and water, essentially. Converting aviation fuel (which has already been fractionated from crude or some other precursor) to some polymer would be hideously energy expensive.
