Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
That win is a huge endorsement of Cullen and Lancaster. They trusted the squad that was performing in the Pro14 and it payed dividends.

Great try.
Guys like Kearney, Byrne, and Ruddock are so good for Leinster at this level.

The new woke. You can never change. Racist for life. I want to know what Jumper thinks. After all, guys caught taking PEDs are allowed redemption. So you consider the personal use of drugs to be worse than racism and discrimination towards others? Interesting to see where your priorities lie. Peopl...

Anyone enjoying the delicious irony that one of the reasons that Paddy and Stuart were sacked was because of how it might hurt sponsorships And now we have our sponsors being hauled across the media for their actions that led to Grenfell. Very odd way to think of something that lead to 70 deaths. H...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Are Ireland asking/expecting too much of Ryan? We are expecting him to do everything like a POC or a AWJ, and he's clearly not up to it at the moment. Hopefully its just a run of poor form, because it's extremely worrying when the guy touted to be Ireland's captain for the next decade has been the w...

can't subscribe to the Kelleher hype and then again cannot understand the Irish dissing Earls all the time , a classy player imo Kelleher has done very well for a guy who was never really hyped for Leinster or ever put in any fantastic performances for Leinster. He looks a solid option who'll get a...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Stockdale went fine at fullback. Spilt one ball, would have created a try for POM if he had a bit more gas , reduced a couple of shoddy passes and managed to make yards and is clearly being used more of set piece to get his hands on the ball, something we desperately need. I'm still not sure he mea...

With Hodnett injured, POM's performance at 7 bodes well for Munster. A backrow of Stander/Coombes/POM could be excellent for Munster.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
At 21 Casey is already looking like a guy with 30 international caps under his belt.
Cooney is great in his role with Ulster, but there isnt huge value giving 20 caps to a 30 year old at the expense of younger guys.

Ross Byrne will be involved despite not being anywhere near the standard required. I'm no huge fan of Burns, but he has been a huge step up on Byrne.

That should be red and a long ban, but it won't be. It's an attempted career ender.
