Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Zebo scores a nice Racing try. He now has 32 European Champions Cup tries and 5th on the all time try scoring comp record.. just behind BOD. A lot of them have been from a few yards out. Jumper was telling me they basically don't count so those figures will need to be looked at again Where did I sa...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Ruddock is in the same boat as Cooney and Cronin. All 3 of them are give-or-take the best in their position in the country. However, they're not hugely established internationals and are considered too old to back as members of the Irish team.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
It'll be interesting to see who Farrell chooses to partner Beirne in the second row in the 6N.
A backrow of Coombes/Stander/POM with Doris on the bench would be very strong.

Also. Take a bow Josh Wycherly. One dodgy scrum apart, he was great.
Looks like there might be a talented loose head in the country under 30.

What a game.
What a win.
We've found the Irish backrow for the 6N anyway.

Me and Quinny agree. The rest of you are a bit soft and agree with Reddan and metro presenter bloke. What gammon nonsense. If ref continue to allow shots like that, the sport isn't going to exist in another decade due to legitimate lawsuits. Gammon  you’re a student are ya? Would explain a lot...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
How could the saints player clear out VDF slowing down their ball? Get lower and/or bind. Lower  he’d need to dig a tunnel. Binding wouldn’t clean out a backrow with a low body position Then, unfortunately, you've lost the ruck. The ruck was over, the ball was on the deck, VDF had no business ...

Well you know better than the TMO and the pro ref watching it in slow mo. It's clearly the wrong decision. Earls has been brilliant since he came back, wouldn't be surprised to see him your with the Lions next year. Would love to see a team coached by Erasmus Larkham and Rowntree. Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Good win in the end. The bench made a hugh impact and many of them should have been starters. Big scrum.
A good few future internationals in there. Coombes has to be capped in the 6N; realistically he should be straight into the starting team.

James Cronin very good again; with Killer injured he should be at least in the Irish matchday squad, if not starting.
He's unlucky to fall into the same group as Ruddock and Cooney.
