Re: Post your facebook friends tedious status updates*
My hairdresser is constantly whining on FB that her husband goes to the pub every evening on his way home from work & doesnt get in until around 9pm by which time she & the kids are usually in bed and his dinner is in the microwave. I have tried to explain to her than rather than making him look bad...

We've seen BVSC at The Royal Albert Hall twice - it's a massive party! Omara Portuondo (the old lady Merry referred too - not quite 88 as she was born in 1930) gets everyone on their feet and before you know it, the place is rocking! Last time, we were outside in the smoking lounge when Omara arrive...

My cousin, who used to work for British Gas, installed my new combi boiler about 7 years ago. He wont recommend anything other than Worcester Bosch, so that's what I got at a cost of approx £2750. It's brilliant.

Tickets are usually received during the week running up to the game. The club are having to print paper tickets to season ticket holders as the Ricoh isnt set up to cope with the same system as Adams Park was. I would suggest that if you havent received your tickets by the Thursday, you should conta...

In an office environment? Started a new job recently and the dress code is casual which is great. I like to wear a warm jumper on these cold mornings. Was pleasantly surprised that Doog purchased his mother's pressie this year. I get all other pressies (just immediate family & two close friends). And I've told him what I'd like (and purchased them, in two instances!). We usually go to his mum's on the day. He cooks Christmas lunch (beef welly), hi...

Re: Anyone au fait with UK planning laws please?
Fredashes: sadly not, the architects have boxed clever & are putting two one bed flats on top of six two beds, so the new flats are going to be much smaller than ours, not even extending to the edges of the building. Hence, no overlap etc. And the nissen hut type roof keeps the profile quite low. Hi...
