Re: Why is JK Rowling suddenly evil?

No child should be coerced against medical and parental opinion into a sex change yet that's exactly what's happening currently and if you oppose it, you're transphobic. Whoa! Has that happened? I thought no-one under the age of 18 was allowed to have a sex change? :? There was a Louis Theroux doc ...

Re: Why is JK Rowling suddenly evil?

I think the bigger question is why is one of the most successful authors of all time weighing into the trans debate and then leaving her own dirty laundry there? I mean FFS, you write books for young adults, why do you need to throw your 2 cents into that cesspit of a debate? Society’s biggest, non...

I'm most interested to read the "What you can do about refugees.." thread at the bottom by SamShark. Is it the usual Bored joke changing "referees" to "refugees" or did Sam really have some good advice? There's a lot of posts in there.... I know it's wrong and it irritates me slightly every time I'm unloading the dishwasher, but not enough to actually change it. Some day when we use up all the spoons I'll consider it.

My real answer is definitely of the type that's forbidden - (having a kid, buying a house)

But one key event was the first time when a mother said something like "keep out of the way, the man is trying to get by" to her kid in a shop.
