That's the trouble with World Rugby, their rules are all optional, at the discretion of the referee, so the game has become as sort of sports madhouse.

Re: RWC 3/4 - The Sun will rise again Match - All Blacks v W

Welsh forwards shamed there - ABs took their own ball off them easy as taking a lolly off a baby in a pram. And Barnes' refereeing seems to be favouring the ABs: since when is holding the ball on the ground a penalty at this World Cup? He's gone back to the old rules in the 2nd last game of the tour...

Yes from what i heard it was all planned to get the weights down as part of the conditioning for the WC. Wont be able to say how much each player trimmed down though. But for me the Boks look fitter at the moment than they have been for many years. Would need to be very carefully managed if we are ...

What I remember is that Duanne commented on how he lost 3 kg in a training session due to the heat and humidity. Obviously will recover that weight afterwards. Pretty sure these players would have been at their fighting weight months before the RWC. Well yes, all the big guys were losing kilos of w...

On a tangent, but indicative of the strange stuff that goes on at WR: apparently the head of the current WR Referees Board is a Frenchman.

Notice the preponderance of French referees at the World Cup.
