Re: Super Rugby: Crusaders v Rebels @ AMI Stadium Match Thre

Has anyone commented on how fast the warders backs are rushing up on defence?

Rebels now looking likely close to the line. Good retention. Will do well to hold them out.

.....and just like that!!

Re: 1st ODI New Zealand v Pakistan, Wellington.

I was in the crowd tonight. Half the stadium (the entire northern half) was roped off for some reason. It did mean that in some TV shots looking up that way, it would have been dire. Unfortunate that some ODIs cannot be played at the Basin. Tonight was also a bit about timing; you've got the World C...

I've lived all around NZ and have heard "Hua" being used in the context of how Sean claims to have used it often but, not as much in the last couple of decades as previously. I always thought of it as a very specific Kiwi insult...something you wouldn't use on a foreigner. Is the reason there was so...

I've also let it be known I'm to be cremated, and if I am to be buried I want a bell and the phone with cutting edge battery life. Being buried alive is the worst thing I can imagine. There can be nothing worse. The thought of being burned alive gives me the shits...but that's a rationale fear, not...

I heard someone say that in 2014, there was a really really small number of draws in all test matches. Most tests produced a result (which - I know - doesn't naturally mean good test cricket) which is good for the fans.

Re: NZ v Sri Lanka II The application of the Welly.

What is a good defendable total for NZ to get to? 300+? Depends on your definitions of "good" and "defendable". Keeping in mind our bowling attack has been pretty sharp over the past season or so, and they'll be fresh. 200 is defendable. 250 would be brilliant. 300 and NZ should win easily. I saw a...
