Re: How Coronavirus Will Change The World (Once Its Controll

The opening post is (Once its controlled), that will only come with a vaccine, if a country lifts lockdown to soon, you only need 1 or 2 infected people to take to back too square one, Air travel will take at least a year or two to recover, and I don't think it ever will get back to pre pandemic day...

Think cheap air fares will be a thing of the past, most will go under , I expect here in the UK a penny on income tax, to help pay for the borrowing, and Brexit will be put on hold maybe reversed. National carriers will be bailed out. Ryan air will survive. Jet fuel is the lowest price it’s been fo...

I think its possible that Social distancing will help the situation, but its probable that most household's have the virus, by that I mean on surfaces, take for example a plastic milk carton, the person who is putting the milk on the shelves in Tesco has the virus on her/his hands contaminating each...

I'm guessing it's a low figure because we don't report it?

It hasn't moved since yesterday (and I assume not for a while before that)
23.000 have mild symptoms, so sounds right.

Re: The coronavirus positive news & information thread

Fingers crossed. It could be just cutting of international travel and community spread is unaffected. Could be just a statistical anomaly. Australia has had only linear increases for about 4 days (and there's a lot of testing here). Numbers of positives in Queensland are reducing each day. Australi...

Unless I'm missing something, deaths went down drastically here yesterday. Not saying they can't climb in the future, but that's not the way it's supposed to be trending... It's very likely that was just noise. We had been more than doubling the number of deaths every 3 days prior to that. Looking ...

NHS uk asked for 250,000 volunteers that was yesterday today they got that amount, properly more.
This virus is showing us the ones who won't sit back and moan an bitch about losing their holiday, and those who help in what ever capacity they can.
UK volunteers take bow.
