Re: Another civil war brewing in Iraq?
So it's kicking off now? I was looking at Vice on youtube yesterday and they were with the kurdish forces outside of kirkuk. Could see the shia militia forces just across way and dust on the horizon that the kurds were saying were armoured units closing in. Apparently the kurds were bringing in rei...

I notice that Hutt High has a really bad male to female student ratio: way more males than females. So I looked at the stats for schools with more females than males. I filtered out < decile 5 and lower than 300 students, and here are the top schools where even ugly guys should be able to get some:...

There's an issue with the top 200 - how on earth is St Pats Silverstream 2nd? Hamilton came 2nd in the top 4 and St Pats went out in the Canes region final. I wonder how they measure it that allows them to be 2nd? Good site though. I came across it last year as well. It looks like that ranking was ...

Stream poach from Porirua too, so do Scots. Hutt High have no chance. My impression of people I knew who went to Hutt High was that it was a reasonably well balanced school that wasn't too interested in chasing a rugby programme. And why would they bother. They used to be a strong sporting school i...

Re: NZ College Rugby - National Top Four
I'm surprised to see Te Aute so low in the Top 100 rankings at 89th. Te Aute haven't been a force in rugby for years - their roll is tiny. Good Maori rugby players will likely go to a Super 8 school rather than Te Aute which used to happen in the past. Based on nothing at all, I still expected to s...

I think the Kurds should bide their time, they have to contend with a weak central government, so they can do pretty much what they like now. If they go for statehood, Turkey, Arab Iraq, and Iran will do everything in their power to stop them achieving this.

Polanski got a pass from the Hollywood elite as he was a genius, had lived a horrific life, and had sex with a 13 year old model at a time when it seems everyone in the entertainment industry was having sex with 13 year old models. Sonny Bono "met" Cher when she was 15. Bowie took Lori Maddock's vi...

Looks like Ben Affleck has blown his chances.
