Re: The Australian Politics Thread

So Joel Fitzgibbon has quit the shadow front bench over climate policy differences. To be honest, Joel Fitzgibbon is a dinosaur with his views and in my mind its fairwell to the old brigade. I think he is quite disruptive and is holding back real climate action in this country. And I think his stepp...

Getting back to whataboutery, let’s not forget that time NZ broke away from the Australian / Antarctic supercontinent 85 million years ago.

If we are going whataboutery, lets not forget Richie diving after running in to Drew Mitchell to convince the ref it was a card, whereas it was Mitchell holding still and McCaw running in to him. While he was off the ref got grumpy about time wasting, probably the dirty ABs again. As soon as Mitchel...

Just found out Trump doesn't have a dog or any other pet. Doesn't surprise me tbf. Other than golf* he doesn't appear to take joy in anything other than 'having other people think he's great'. *which he cheats at so it probably just feeds into his 'how others view him' Not only doesn't he have a do...

I have petitioned the Governor of this fine State to relocate the ring of steel around Werribee. We don't want you lot bringing down the reputation of Footscray. NZ look very beatable at the moment. First I've felt that in about... 10-12 years or so. You do realise that wasn’t nearly our best XV don’t ya ? 1. Karl Tu'inukuafe (15) - Joe Moody (48) 2. Codie Taylor (53) - Dane Coles (69) 3. Ofa Tuungafasi (38) - Nepo Laulala (30) 4. Scott Barrett (38) - Brodi...
