Re: The Running Thread
Sorc, Im not running for racing or anything. I started it for fitness whilst weather was too crap for cycling, turns out I like it for the challenge and satisfaction of getting a PR or beating a distance. So I like a podcast or a bit of music when running.

I did my first 10km last night. Pretty happy with it as it had been a goal for the year. Had to adjust my pace a few times as my lungs were about to burst. Worst part was getting a lain in my shoulder towards the end. Remarkably little pain in my legs today. wait till tomorrow! and kudos  ...

Amado was in S3, good character I thought. Amazing how the writers make these complete scumbags somewhat sympathetic
Also one scene I loved, when Felix meets Pacho in Panama. Such a tense scene and episode. The whole season was basically just Felix stress smoking (Walt too).

Finished Narcos, definitely going to watch El Chapo now. What was the deal with a name being occasionally bleeped out and not showing in the subtitles? Someone in government I think. Finished Narcos today, brilliant piece of TV. Loved Pablo Acostas story, and Scoot McNairy was brilliant throughout ...

I started running in addition to cycling late last year, it is less crap in the cold and rain. I have noticed that the aches kind of go away the more you run. Still get groin niggles sometimes but stretched a bit last night which seemed to help. Did some runs over in hot weather and was amazed at ho...

So, who among us actually voted for the scummers? Including giving past first preference. Not that it mattered in most cases. Doesn't seem to be many who'd admit it but I've got my eye on nardol and lily. Bulletyme, judging by his handle at least. MVP by past statements. :? Odd one. My handle is du...

Blaming fuckups on housing or healthcare is bottom of the barrel stuff. It's laughable.
On a more positive note, delighted to see the Social Democrat growth. I've found Gary Gannon to be a hard worker so happy he got in.

Saw that you've been running a bit. I can't speak highly enough of Parkrun for making me do a regular decent run. I've no lack of motivation for exercise, just not that kind of exercise! Happy New Year all! Hope it's off to a good start for everyone. Best part about it IMO was the end and how it sent off the gangster film and the Italian American mob era in general. I would agree with Naki. I wasn't feeling it really.
