Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

No injuries for Connacht from the 23 that played Ulster. That's impressive given the physicality of the game.

S & C and injury prevention seems to have come on a lot over the past 2 seasons

Connacht has gotten decent value out of signing AIL players since the Lam days. Matt Healy, Niyi among others

Craig Ronaldson had a few good years too. Peter Sullivan was decent, surprised he didn't get picked up by a Championship club in England

What Connacht lads put there hand up for world cup? Blade outside the usuals. Prendergast competing with Baird for the utility back 5 slot, has the added ability of being able to play 8 but he’s not getting ahead of Baird. Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Fair fecks to Wilkins/Friend for that result tonight. I'd the season written off after the Ulster defeat at home but with a bit of luck and a big improvement they've almost secured Heineken Cup rugby and have a semi final to show for it. Wilkins gets a lot of gip from some of the Connacht lads on h...

Goading the crowd after. No need for it, childish carry on. And one of his more mature performances, bar his shocker of a pass to butcher the certain try he was rock solid.

How we had to hang on at the end. As usual some really dumb play when in a winning position and butchering so many chances. Backs really let the forwards down who were immense. Hurley Langton with a game for the ages

That’s a good team nice to be this healthy in May. Prendergast at 8 is a bit weird. Is Boyle injured or just off the boil? I wouldn't ordinarily be excited by a lad with a lack of coaching experience (he allegedly has been coaching in Japan) but Fardy had a great reputation in Leinster for helping lads around him raise their game.
