Does anyone remember a French prop playing for Harlequins in the 90s... They had a great front row of him, Wood and Leonard. Remember them playing Ulster and being so surprised we held our own in scrum.

I was living in Scotland at the time. Great time in the pub watching the final. I honestly don't remember anything about any of the games except for the French shitting themselves every time we put the ball in the air.

Will this see any careers ended? Were there many players expected to bow out at the end of this season? At Ulster? Anyone even close to retirement went last year. We did a good job getting Marty Moore back to playing quality rugby, hope we can do the same with Madigan. Plus he can't be any worse than Faddes. If he doesn’t hinder Lowry getting game time then I don’t mind. On a separate note, how many seasons is that in a row we have signed a non-Ulster 10? Ou...

The worst breed of culchies were definitely Rainey. Big, thick farmer types that had no interest in playing but preferred cheapshots and fighting. For such a supposedly shite team Inst lost to Armagh by 7 points after a breakout try from Armagh's own 22 in the last play of the game. Final score 29-22. Armagh were winning 24-22 at the time, didn't need the last play try - amazing achievement for a school that has less than 50 boys in each year...

Jean Francois Tordo - flanker who captained and played hooker for France in the 90s with his scrum half throwing the ball into the lineout. He had mad hair as well.
