Re: Leinster All Time Import 15
Did the cheerleaders last more than one season? Poor gurls used to freeze their bits off..... Tell you who i miss watching from the latter Donnybrook days - Regan King of Scarlets. Him and Felipe had a few cracking duels for who could sit their opposite number on their arse with a sidestep or offload.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Watching the Exeter attack in the first half and they really confused Leinster's D with their attack triangles - two running hard lines with the option of tip-on from 1 to 2 and a trail guy behind for the pass back who connects with the next triangle. It's very efficient because you dont waste many...

I think it's great to see the action being reffed and not the outcome, but he's the only ref in world rugby seeing it that way.

Gulf in class today. Hopefully a big wake up call for a few Chiefs players and coaches. That really should be a huge lesson today. Pack went Ok by and large, but the backs let them down so often, they just ask too much of their forwards time and again. The quality of passing and decision making was...

I don't follow the English club games, apart from keeping an eye out for LI. How are Exeter going this year? 2nd in the Premiership but hadn't been playing that well - albeit it's hard to tell during the 6N because teams get affected by call ups. Except Eddie refuses to acknowledge Exeter as a team...

I reckon if we win tomorrow it's going to be right up there with our away performance against Clermont in the semis in 2012. Exeter aren't quite as formidable as that Clermont team in Bordeaux but we're missing a load of our top guys while we were pretty much at full strength in 2012 (albeit not ne...

Re: Exeter Vs Leinster
I can only think Fardy is in there to hit rucks. Nothing like an Aussie back five player to wade into the breakdowns and fook things up. Must be in the game plan to contest the breakdowns and protect the pick and goes otherwise you'd think Baird has the edge.

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
I don't think Luke Fitz was over-hyped at all. Quality player in every facet of the game. One of the best players we've ever had at Leinster. Was obviously unfortunate with injuries during the Schmidt-era, trying to rekindle form during the MOCalypse and ultimately recurring injuries did him in. In...

Leinster injury list: James Ryan, Garry Ringrose, Caelan Doris, Dan Leavy, Will Connors, Max Deegan, Scott Penny, Ciarán Frawley, Jamison Gibson-Park, all 3 O'Brien's, Adam Byrne, Jack Dunne. Probably a couple others I've forgotten. And 5/6 of those would start or be key off the bench. We're not ta...

Very surprised by that. I'd have given Exeter 3-pt favouritism, something like that. Not a punter but that could be worth a bet.Leinster in London wrote: ↑Fri Apr 09, 2021 1:03 pm I was looking at the betting yesterday. Leinster seem to be two point favourites.

Bench won it for them. We are about 4/5 players away from the next level. Happy with the performance, we also lacked a bit of nous and experience.
