Kruis and Launch are both 4/5s while Itoje and Lawes are 5/6s. One of the reasons Itoje has shone (and Lawes in years past) is you have beefcake flankers with good workrates fulfilling some of the lock work in the loose (shifting piles of bodies around). When you look at Saracens' success (or North...

There was a pretty famous case a few years back of an English climber David Sharp being left to die by many who passed him. Even the gangly beekeeper become embroiled in the argument saying he should have been saved. Like others I find it rather appalling that you would leave your fellow man to die...

Kriel is the incumbent 13, such as it is. He had a month or so off for a head knock and hasn't been all that impressive since returning. Do we still slot him in on the bench behind Mapoe? He covers 11-15 so a good utility pick.

Hermione Granger is a figure of popular culture. The assumption has always been that she is white and that is how she has been portrayed ... up until now. A black actress was deliberately cast in the role with that in mind. The question is why. tbf, Jesus wasn't white but is portrayed as such by po...

The English tight five should be, for the most part, unchanged from the RWC. Mako can't scrum. I think his days are numbered. If Genge proves to be what we all hope, Mako will be gone. Others such as Auterac loom large on the horizon, and I think he would have toured if not for a very disrupted season. Too many penalties conceded and scrums lost against the head. He holds h...

I still think that England will have the edge at scrum time. But I dont think we will get reamed. I think we will hold our own but we wont be winning penalties. Both Cole and Marler have pretty low rankings but playing the 6 Nations seems to have screwed with many of the Eng players ratings. Kudos to Kruis, Billy V and A Goode who still did pretty well. Cole has been somewhat pedestrian for a specialist scrummager since the 6N and both he and Marler haven'...

Sorry, but we already have a 'touch down'... from Law 22 Definitions: When defending players are first to ground the ball in in-goal, the defending players make a touch down .
