Germany will destroy England, it won't even be close. I'd say 4-0.
It'll be a perfect victory for progressive liberalism over chest-thumping English nationalism.

Re: Russian aircraft and ships scare away British destroyer
So the Poms just wanted to sail through Russia's waters and thought nothing would happen? Do they still think it's the 1870s and Britannia rules the waves?

Prediction: Ukraine will eventually enter NATO/EU after ceding the old Russian lands it was given in a moment of stupidity by Kruschev, back to Russia. Although the other side is that Ukraine's leaders might not actually want to enter the EU. It would basically end the country, demographically. Ukra...

I did watch the England game. Why didn't they kick it over the top more to Stirling? My guess was that it was because of the heat and they didn't want to tire out. But it worked well at the start.

Every team plays with a second playmaker now. The NZ mistake is to try and make it a formal or forced thing. Willie Le Roux can play that role for SA, England have Farrel and Ford, Australia have for a long time favoured a playmaker 12.

Re: No thread on what is happening in Jerusalem?
The problem is that both sides hate each other too much for there to ever be a real negotiated treaty or peace. We see already how it is with Israeli dominance - however there can never be an equal field. Therefore when you look at it from the Israeli's perspective, it's either suppression of Palest...

Cool, we've got arguing honestly going. The logical extension of your overly lazy example is that Transgender women should be banned from all sports. Which I think is immoral and is most likely illegal No not all sports - only sports in which having gone through puberty as a male provides a strengt...

South African teams should be banned from international competition for a set period. I don't know what the minimum period would be but there does need to be some kind of repercussion for the bollocks pulled in the last year. 5 years would be a fair starting point. Constantly offering them carrots ...
