Naughty boy. Brake testing is shitty practice. Didn't like it when Hamilton/Vettel and Max/Lewis did it, and I don't like it here.

Re: Women's 6 Nations 2024 thread
Eld I shouldn't but...
It deserves it because it was infront of the posts and I don't care if you are amateur, you make that kick. No matter how little time it's mostly just kick straight.
To then kick it off the pitch.

Wales have had an absolute meltdown from the conversion onwards.

Should really be out of sight scotland and that's a poor return for a very good 40 mins.

Re: Women's 6 Nations 2024 thread
Well played Irish women. A 3 try deficit was a massive turnaround and deserved on the afternoon. Fre lineout and scrum did improve but handling and attacking combinations behind 9 were unimaginative. Queyroi solid (unlike newbie Tuy) but lacks Drouin's ability to animate attacking play. B...

Decent game. Ireland will be happy with that. Their highest score equalled against France.

They didnt lose EVERY game by 30 and rarely lost to england and france by 50. It did happen but it was the exception as opposed to the set standard The tournament is in its infancy. I'm sure your average brute of an Irish bloke didn't even know they had women rugby players 3 seasons ago. An infant ...

Re: Women's 6 Nations 2024 thread
Suppose its one of the things with national coaching but Irelands defence with this much pressure has been very good (poor 15 though).
The problem is they dont know what to do with the ball at all.
It's all just rear guard action

Seb Blake looks a decent hooker too. Lovely offload for Varney and the winning try. He’s been outstanding. Got thrown in at the deep end last season when we had Singleton, Socino and McGuigan all injured and hasn’t looked out of place at all. He’s technically very good as well as quick round the pa...

Well played Wales - a comfortable and professional 4-1 win. Poland in Cardiff in 5 days. Winner heads to Germany for the Euros. It would be some thing to get to our 3rd Euros, particularly our first attempt in the post Bale era. Having said that, Poland are a better team, even with our home advanta...

Re: **OFFICIAL** English Rugby Thread
We need to build some depth in quite a few positions though. The drop off from, say, Lawrence, is huge - even losing a rookie like Wabosi was hurtful. And the bench needs to have bigger impact. It'll be tough to bring in fresh faces with the schedule we have for the rest of this year - but needs to...

Aled Walter’s deserves a lot of credit, we look very different physically. Genge and Maro in particular look significantly bigger than under Jones and still seem to be very fit. Genge is playing much better without all the machismo. Imo yesterday was his best game for England. Wasn't he good yester...

I think the pleasing thing is, we can play this way consistently now. They backed it up Ireland last week and france this week.
The 2 toughest teams and it was 23-22 and 31-33. And we have a lot to progress with.

France played very well. That can happen, we can't mitigate everything.
I'd like us to be better in the first halfs in general though. We've been behind every game this six nations at half time.

More encouragement here. We know personnel needs changing but it seems as though it's moving the right way. Probably deserved to win, especially with Angus making some very poor decisions to keep us under pressure. One disappointing last was the amount we kicked the ball off and let France reset. W...

Humphries at the moment is in a different gear to anyone else. Won playing poorly against Aspinall in the final last night but, he's relentless and it's effortless. 99/100 he always has a 100+ average, usually between 103 and 108 and it's breaking world class players. Short form format maybe he can ...

We've now got solid confirmation that Ben Orange is a bit of a tw@t. Long suspected but never till now fully plain. If he didn't fall out with Holland... why does he not want to be selected? Isn't Barbeary a bit of a unit? Yep - pretty mobile though - started as a centre, then Hooker now Backrow. 24 tries in 35 senior appearances !! Bad injury profile! Rumours of Daly and Ford starting, Tuilagi to bench. Tbh as expected. He's keeping continuity. Do I actually rate Muir or Roebuck, in r...
