Exchanging currency to go on holiday in Continental Europe - how very 80s & 90s. Do you wear shoulderpads to go into the bank? If you use a credit card in a cash machine you will be charged a user fee, plus your bank will rip you off with the exchange rate. Cost me 80 quid in fees doing that a coup...

Sentencing hearing under way today. Interesting that Oscar now admits for the first time that he knew whoever was behind the door was likely to be killed, and it wasn't an accident, as he's claimed all along. And his lawyer giving a big sob story about how Oscar is a broken man, suffering from PTSD...

I get sick of gullible judges taking the supposed sorrow that the accused has for their actions into account. In my very considerable experience the only person they every feel sorry for is themselves. Exactly. Of course someone who faces jailtime feels remorse. And he knew he was in trouble as soo...

So is this 6 years on top of the 5 he already got, making 11 in total, or is it 1 year on top of the original 5, making 6 in total? Its a bit confusing. I thought 15 was the minimum for murder. Surely Nel will appeal, and apply for a new judge to pass sentence. Masipa has surely disqualified herself...

That was the best game I've seen from a SA franchise. Seems to me they've stolen a playbook from kiwiland. Red Tsunami was an apt description. Any kiwi team will enjoy playing them, be a tough game in their fortress though.

Have 17 million people in the UK ever voted for one thing ever before. It's extraordinary and very sad that people have all of a sudden discovered they don't actually want to live in a democratic country. Would holding a 2nd referendum be undemocratic ? Rosberg fought his way up the order from sixth on the grid to lead polesitter Hamilton in the closing stages and there was rarely more than a couple of seconds between the silver cars. I don't see how her work in favour of remaining in the EU cannot be considered relevant in view of his statements and his affiliations. Jetstar are crap.
Flown with them once. We boarded and then sat on the tarmac for an hour because it was the first flight of the day for the plane, and it hadn't been refuelled. This was at 2 in the afternoon.
Its called incompetance.

I thought Wales played quite well and stuck to their guns. A lot of teams would have thrown in the towel and got really humped. I don't think many teams can live with the ABs when they go up through the gears. The zoo will be concerned with the poor defence at the end though. Plenty of room for impr...
