Re: Pro12 to welcome 2 Saffa sides

Be interesting if these two sides in time supply more of the bok team than the sides in the soup... Probably best of a tough situation for the Pro12, they cant compete financially with the English and French club sides so they need to drive into these markets hoping that will unlock bigger tv deals...

I can't believe how niggly Bakkies was in that series. Love it though 8) In John Smit's book he talks about exactly that. Apparently Mike Phillips was giving it loads at each ruck f-ing and blinding and shoving and Bakkies grabs him and blows him a kiss or something and starts talking about his bea...

Re: Do we need this sort of plum in rugby?

It is important to separate the Lions from the broader international games. International teams have home games to earn revenue, some of which filters back to the clubs. It's a mutually beneficial arrangement so the clubs will support it. The Lions don't have home games. When you factor in the losse...

Re: Why JW failed at Montpellier

Without contradicting the points made, the writer is harsh when judging his record. 49 wins from 82 (60%) is not unusual in France with home wins and away losses being the norm. La Rochelle topped the table with 65%, Clermont won the trophy with only 58% in the regular season. He doesn't say that Mo...

Re: Springboks down to 7th in the rankings

Very small gap covering 3rd to 6th. The rating system is pretty rough so effectively that's a 4-way tie. 7th and 8th are not too far behind either. The rankings get the most coverage, but I look at the points rating for trends. Most of the time SA are somewhere between 83 and 88. We've been ranked 7...

Exactly, Blake. Far too little has been said about the "how" in this series. The Saffers won't go anywhere. They know what's good for them, and the tour of NZ and reciprocal tour of SA by NZ sides was about the best outcome of pro rugby for me. The All Blacks have been caught out by France more than once. England too. Just when you think they are finished, that's when they are at the most dangerous. The players seem to ignore their coaches and just play off the cuff. Boom - all your plans are now invalid. Sneaky bastards.

It's usually related to the value of the shares, so £200 might well be right if the value is high. That's because it's not just an admin fee, it's a form of insurance so higher risk, higher premium.

I would try about 3 brokers for comparison, at least 1 of which operates online.

Kolisi and Serfontein were selected by Meyer. That's the point, which you are missing - they were 20/21 when they were selected.
