Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Just because the IRFU fund development officers to go into schools and clubs doesn’t necessarily mean they’re any good. In my experience the whole process is very basic, for example you get a CCO etc coming in for one or two sessions and never hear from them again. What’s the point in that? Bigger s...

Anyone invested in any of the big US tech companies (magnificent 7) directly?? Yes, Microsoft and Amazon. They are both on the up. I might buy more when they dip but they are only going to increase in price long term, Microsoft with it’s AI work and Amazon with AWS and it’s investment in AI. I’ve t...

Luke Marshall retiring at the end of the season Decent career but what could he have done without the injuries I remember seeing him for the first time at the combined friendly at the opening game in the new Lansdowne (I think it was U20's?). He was head and shoulders the best player on the pitch. ...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Prendercast, Ahern, Coombes etc are decent, but far from insurmountable. Irelands top backrowers are mostly wrong side of 30, so there will have to be a bit of development work done there. Conan is 31, VdF 30, Doris 26 and Baird 24. The latter three are the starters, imo, and won’t be going anywher...

Certainly expect him to feature in the autumn internationals if he keeps this form up Not sure if he will go to South Africa Not a chance. Tight 5 not good enough. O’Connor has been non existent and Kitshoff has given away a few penalties and stood and watched as Ulster got pushed off their own ball at the breakdown.
