Does anyone remember a French prop playing for Harlequins in the 90s... They had a great front row of him, Wood and Leonard. Remember them playing Ulster and being so surprised we held our own in scrum.

I was living in Scotland at the time. Great time in the pub watching the final. I honestly don't remember anything about any of the games except for the French shitting themselves every time we put the ball in the air.

The worst breed of culchies were definitely Rainey. Big, thick farmer types that had no interest in playing but preferred cheapshots and fighting. Portora weren't much better - had quite a few shoeings in Omagh as well, both school and club. Never played City of Derry? Psychopaths from 1st XV to P2...

For such a supposedly shite team Inst lost to Armagh by 7 points after a breakout try from Armagh's own 22 in the last play of the game. Final score 29-22.
