Re: Your favourite all time player ever!
For me it is (in order): Frank Bunce - plus he scored my favourite try (ABs vs SA, 2nd test I think, to win the series in ‘96) BOD - wonderful player and runner, broke my heart scoring in front of me for Leinster vs. Quinn’s (that match) Michael Jones - so good, awesome player Jonny Wilkinson - very...

Re: NRL announces the re-start of their season May 28
Have a looked at the facilitators of this deal:
1) Proper small scale non financial spivs - essentially a sports mgmt company (not a finance or investment org)
2) they’re linked to CVC. Expect this to be equity based - NRL is selling itself

I doubt RA could afford to pay out Raelene. I still think RC has overall done OK (resigning Israel - bad, going to market on the tv deal - good, changing Chek's power and bringing in selectors / director of rugby - good). J man - should be fine but only issue which maybe worth checking is that many contracts / IT plocies state that anything built on their tech belongs to the firm.

My first game of the year (+35yrs golden oldies) called off at Eastwood.
Disappointed but makes sense.
I think I’m playing hockey again this year - that’s still on - first game Sat.

Eight week comp - each NZ team plays each other home and away. 5th team has bye that week - starts in two weeks (landers have first bye).
Fri and sat night games.
Then finals between ladder 1&2.
9!weeks takes us to end May - then in National comp.

Not sure why Saders fans are so keen to end the season.
I’m looking forward to Inter-NZ games first, Chiefs should have another crack at the Canes (maybe the Saders would like another crack at the Chiefs) ... plus a better ITM as mentioned...

Poor from chiefs.
I thought DMaC was poor in general - especially his kicking.
Did Cruden get picked up for late no arm hit on Fletcher Smith? (Not red but yellow)...

Partly because the others will probably get called.
About 6 hours to kick off - looking forward to seeing TJ vs. Weber

About 20 beers in the fridge / 20+bottles of wine and some spirits
80+ toilet rolls
Food for a couple of weeks
Some water
Camping gear and gas (just been camping)
Think ok for a couple of weeks.

But worrying in Aus:
- one doctor With virus (Ryde Hospital)
- one age care worker with virus (Macquarie park) - worrying given impact by age (+15% for over 80 that contract the virus)
MatPat - you may wish to stay stateside - that’s your area isn’t it

Early days but looks like teams will be weaker than in the past.
That said the conference - total points / total points per game etc is still stronger than Safa and Aus one...
Roll on the next third of games and tours and let’s see where things are...

With my optimistic hat the good news is that this question exists for almost all positions - who are our locks, our back row, our midfield, our back three etc. a lot of questions to be answered.
I think the answer to 12 must include 13 - what is the best combo.

Almost went for the blues in the picking comp - then bottled it and went Saders by 11.
Blues have been Ok so far - expect more of the same tonight but expect Saders to get up and win.
ScoBa was good last week - be interesting if he can be strong all game. Big Pat was Ok last week - but not AB level.
