Not looking forward to going over the CCTV footage. I’m guessing the fake-out shin kick is going to be so telegraphed they’re going to ask why I didn’t block it  CCTV footage is never good, because no matter how good you think things went in your head, it looks ridiculous on CCTV. Some twat ...

Re: The Training Thread - all aspects of fitness and health
Eh, go see a trained professional! Re prepping for shoulder surgery; is it your dominant arm that's being done, Stjudes ? If so, practice doing things with your weaker hand. Brushing your teeth, wiping your arse, wanking etc are so difficult with your weak hand. I found that I had to loosely tie my...

Re: The Training Thread - all aspects of fitness and health
In fairness it really reduced certain pain and I was hoping the surgeon would say the knife wasn't needed. How's yours when you roll? I hit the bags a bit but pals roll allot and it scares me so much to think of how much pain I would be in an arm bar. I can't even throw a tennis ball for the mutt wi...

Yeah, I've been doing that (hanging) since hearing it on JRE last summer, sadly it does not repair the tears or chips floating around in there.
Did terabands, loads of physio. The surgery has to happen just hoping that there were some pointerd on recovery.

Re: The Training Thread - all aspects of fitness and health
Go to physio regularly, do what they say no matter what. Your recovery is only as good as the effort you put in to your rehab. Shouldn't be too much pain if you're careful about not moving or trying to use your arm for anything. I was hoping for a magic pill. After three Achilles surgeries I hope I...

Re: The Training Thread - all aspects of fitness and health
Anyone any advice in relation to shoulder surgery recovery? I have been told that I need it, hopefully just arthroscopic shoulder surgery. Bone spur, tear in my rotator cuff to be anchored back, bits and pieces where they should not be. I have googled how long I will be out of work, Doc said a few w...

Good to know and thanks for the tip! May have to check it out one day, some of my favourite places to see around this region have been by word of mouth. EDIT... Come on over, Tubogoat will host a 6 nations cabal/braai Might be a plan. Have a massive Braai coming up in Al Ain shortly, with a pretty solid rugby contingent. Re: Expat life in Dubai
It's so so. Lived in a couple of places in the gulf over the past decade and each has its merits. Dubai's pro's are the driving isn't as lethal (still pretty bad) as Oman/KSA/Kuwait. Much better nightlife than the foregoing. A larger expat community then say Oman where everyone knows each other and ...

Have our party this Wednesday, got bought out by a big 4 two years ago, they are having their bash, us five are having our own. It will be a mess but have to be in Thursday.
I am doing a 8+ hour flight Friday morning and I hate flying sketchy but I love a pint too much so it will be a tough one.

I thought Gosling was perfectly cast, a plank of an actor. Ford was more indie than decker. The hologram girl was the best bit and that's even with the good scenes cut out.
