FFS trying to make out that a trip from Llanelli to Dublin is onerous. I'm often back and forth to Brussels on day trips. Completely doable. This my point, logistics are not a reason for not selecting him in the squad, it's a piece of piss. The reason he's not in the squad is because we don't...

Would tie in with the sponsorship for the 6 nations falling substanially too. Think it's gone from 17m to 11-12m The drop in value has also had an unexpected knock-on effect in terms of the RDS securing a long-term sponsorship deal which would help pay for the redevelopment. Billy V will be missed badly by England. They struggle to make yards with their pack without him.
Their second row are good at hitting rucks and tidying up messy ball but they don't have a huge amount of explosive ball carriers.

To be fair, Molony is probably ahead of Beirne so technically Cammy is correct.
However, there would be a few other players who he didn;t mention who would be ahead of Molony.

Quite a few reasons. It started to go sour when they bought Eaga, a company that specialised in solar and insulation. They also got stung by renewable projects being put on the back burner in the Middle East because of falling oil projects. Another issue that hit them was the failure of the UK's "G...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Earls, Conway, Stockdale and R. Kearney as the front runners for the back 3 spots, you'd have to imagine.
Larmour might get a look-in for the Italy game but it might be too early for the likes of a game against some of the other teams.
Still, quite a mouth-watering prospect with these options.

Leinsters to lose lads and they'd need to play badly to manage that IMHO. I'd be very concerned that a lack of continuity will be our downfall again this season. I'm assuming the First XV won't play this weekend so if that's the case, they won't play again together until the weekend of the 24th whi...

Seriously lads, putting money on Munster is a waste, discipline is a huge problem and the way we start games is a real concern. Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
Looking at the odds for Europe, are we really that far ahead of everyone? 8/5 on betfair with Clermont next at 4/1. Munster 3rd favourites at 5/1. Value bet for me would be Exeter at 20/1. Can't believe Munster are only 5/1, would have had them at much longer odds. They aren't leaking tries which b...
