Re: $100,000 bet on ABs to win

Hopefully he bet it at Bet365 and not with the NZ TAB. Under Australasian rules for draws in two way moneyline markets he would've lost $42,000 ($100k *1.16*0.5), at 365 he would've got his $100k back in full.

Pressure in comparison to what? In years past All Black captains and coaches were in danger of being sacked, nothing will happen if we lose this weekend.

On ya Bucko, there were plenty of haters in the waiting for this one, and most were Kiwis. He'll be suffering a lot right now, but he'll learn a lot from the situation (I hope!) Yep. Re: Itoje

Itoje was completely dominant that first half. Disrupting opposition lineouts, defusing mauls, getting over the ball every tackle and making the AB forwards work to blow him off, he was head and shoulders the best player on the field that first half. I'm not sure why two penalties in the second half...

It's had a lot of staying power that slogan though. I'm pretty sure "Absolutely Positively Wellington" dates back to around 1990. There was also a song made for the slogan too. And by a song made, it's a cover of "I'm a Believer", but with Absolutely Positively Wellington thrown in the lyrics at som...

I'd give him a 9/10 for the first half and a 5/10 for the second. He was bossing the ABs that first half, the ABs had to abandon the rolling maul because of him.

4/10 overall is woefully laughable.

Yellow seemed reasonable to me. Red wouldn't have been unfair, but it would've been at the very low end for a red offence.

France v Japan at North Harbour stadium in the 2011 world cup. Made an effort for the world cup, but otherwise I've always preferred TV for rugby, much easier to see what's going on in the scrums and rucks.

I may be a dissenting voice here but I think that the Lions have a shout. Gatland will not care about the result from any of the midweek games and will only focus on the tests where I think the Lions will take a similar approach to Ireland...namely a highly structured, disciplined ball control phas...

fudge me, the Crusaders always get the rub of the green from the refs. That wasn't a try, and Crotty should definitely have been binned early on for the cynical offside knock-down a metre out from the line.
