Re: Official New Zealand v England 2nd Test Match Thread
Great game and England started so well and finish strongly. But the ABs after half time were irresistible. Yellow cad was harsh but that's cancelled out by the non try that was awarded. Big ups to Woodcock, Rettalick, Nonu and Ben Smith. McCaw was everywhere as usual. A very fine English side has be...

Re: Why the All Blacks will lose (the 2nd test)
I'm very concerned abou the AB chances this weekend. England are a wells packed professional outfit. Lancaster knows the game and is a good thinker. ABs could get beaten up badly this weekend.

Thank god we didn't have Vettori fit and playing this test. We actually had an slow bowler turning the ball and getting bounce and taking wickets on a wearing wicket. Instrumental in bowling us to victory. Something Vettori hasn't managed in over 10 years.

Re: Which current ABs might not be at the RWC?
McCaw is still an 80 minute player who closes out a game better than any other openside. Have a look at his impact in the last 10 minutes of that last test, picking up the portly Crockett and dragging him centimetres from the English tryline, winning turnovers and leaping high above the English pla...

Another 100 runs and then 4.5 sessions to roll the Windies. That's the recipe.

English fans bitching and whining about the ref when Fekitoa pulled a perfectly legitimate hold up during a maul near the try line. Owens decision to penalise Fekitoa was disgraceful and the ABs are owed a "homer" in the 2nd test.

2 games in a row is not a trend. At minimum a trend is 3 games. So this coming weeks match will be the litmus test.

Re: Media harsher on All blacks than any other team in histo
Have to agree. Media sometimes forget there are 2 teams playing for 80 minutes. Statisically the better team lost last night. A moment of creative and very high risk taking paid off for the ABs. They will get better ..but so will England. A true test match, a genuine contest for the ball and mouth w...

Starting to cast my mind back to the 93 Lions series. The ABs snuck a very lucky win in the first test thanks to the boot of Fox. Everyonesaid that the cob webs have gone and the ABs would run wild in the 2nd test. The Lions butt farked the ABs at Athletic Park on the back of a superb lineout and lo...

Re: All Blacks v England Official First Test Match Thread
Utilities had a great game but I was extremely happy with Conrad Smith and his rugby brain leading up to the decisive score.
AB defense was pretty bloody good. To not concede a try in 80 minutes of test footy is a huge positive for the ABs to take out of the match.

Congrats to the All Blacks. Got a funny feeling that this is as well as England will play this tour and also as close as they'll get to a test win. Thought McCaw showed his value in that 2nd half. Big big engine till the 80th minute. Some big tackles a crucial turnover late in the match. It was the same in the Ireland match late last year Well according to Towny McCaw did "fudge all". Without him in tonight's 2nd half and we may have bottled i...

Hope to see Read at 8 and Drogo at 6 next week. Kaino is a destructive player and with and creating at 8 that will help vs an England back row that was outstanding tonight. Should be a shit fight tonight in the forwards. But having Khal Drogo at no 8 should edge that battle for the ABs. Expect the battle of the backs to be more one-sided with the ABs showing too much creativity.

Cut and clean all the way is the feedback I've had from the majority of females I've had the debate with.
And there needs to be a good balance of both if the after footie match bus banter is to continue. Ant eaters sit on the left and helmet heads on the right.
