Re: Northampton v Munster HEC.
Surely that's the last European game for Zebo? He looked absolutely miles off the pace on both sides of the ball.

Re: Northampton v Munster HEC.
Beirne really doesn't deserve to lose today. The other 22 of them, not so much.
Saints had the physical edge from the start, and Munster just ran out of ways to get around it. They had plenty of possession, but didn't score a single point after the 28th minute.

Horror pass from Crowley to gift the turnover, followed by the missed tackle. That try is on him.

Re: Northampton v Munster HEC.
Murray Kinsella reported that Casey got sick on the pitch - we are absolutely f**ked. There's a bug in the camp. Getting the excuses in early? Had them in pre-match - we're missing 4 or 5 starters and the team that's playing is ravaged, ravaged by illness - Saints should win this by 25 points Ye la...

Re: Northampton v Munster HEC.
Just caught up. Excellent game. But Munster will almost definitely lose. They can't keep this up and Saints are finding it far easier to score. Munster should have been at least a full score clear, if not two. Murray Kinsella reported that Casey got sick on the pitch - we are absolutely f**ked. The...

Re: Northampton v Munster HEC.
Interesting watching the way Ireland and England sides approach a breakdown Saints biggest problem is that they aren't targeting the jackaller at all. All of their turnovers have been conceded almost unopposed because of clearing players not getting in place sooner. They haven’t done their homework...

Re: Northampton v Munster HEC.
Munster started that half trying to break the line with the bosh, but weren't getting much return. They've since moved to use more tip-ons at the line. Amazing when they work, but they don't always stick when you're under pressure.

That's 2 tries from 3 visits to the 22 from Saints. Munster have dominated territory and possession, but their defence is looking problematic.

Munster lucky there. Jackaller had his left hand on the deck before he went for the ball. Inexcusably poor effort on the clearout though.

There seems to be so much hype around this guy He's good but I'm not sure he's that good? He was doing a lot because his side weren't getting the physical advantage up front. Arguably he did too much, but it's hard to ignore how effective he is in and past contact. Rootes was exceptional today. Wor...

Re: Leinster vs Leicester Tigers
There's an element of truth there. Leo needs to win something. His tenure as head coach is an interesting one for me. One European trophy in a decade and no silverware in 3 years is not a brilliant return, particularly given that he's basically been coaching one of the top ranked test sides for the...

Re: Leinster vs Leicester Tigers
I don't know why people are taking umbrage with the statement that a season finishing with no trophies would be a complete failure? They basically play a full international team when it matters. I seem to have struck a nerve anyway. There's an element of truth there. Leo needs to win something. His...

He's got the size and pace to be a test wing, but he just doesn't work hard enough on or off the ball. Watch Waboso yesterday, who's giving away more than a stone to OHC. He wants the ball and he wants to come and beat players physically.

There were times in years gone by when the Sarries pack would put the fear of god into opposition players reading the teamsheet. Look at this starting pack today. Who on earth would be intimidated by that (apart from Quins)? 1. Mako Vunipola, 2. Jamie George, 3. Christian Judge, 4. Maro Itoje, 5. Hu...

Re: 2023/2024 European Champions Cup
Sarries taking a physical pasting here. Can't seem to get any rhythm with the ball at all. They look so much less organised without Faz at 10, not helped by the fact that Van Zyl isn't having his best game. Last time they played Bordeaux, this season, Sarries conceded 55 points - with Farrell...
