Re: The all new Photography thread - post your best efforts

I'd welcome any genuine comments about the eagle & castle shots. I hope you don't mind, but I had a quick play with your castle photo. IMO shots into the sun are difficult and can be flat (unless you're aiming for a straight silhouette). A bit of PP can bring them to life. The shot itself is very n...

Re: Is Quade Cooper still better than Dan Carter?

I heard Carter is too scared to face him, and has begged to be selected at inside centre for the match.

Mainly I just hope Cooper doesn't get too angry with McCheat's illegal play at the ruck and, in a fit of rage, unleashes the right canon.

A suspension for on-field murder wouldn't do.

Long exposure from my balcony. Question: There's some glare in my pic. Would a ND filter fix that? No, an ND filter wouldn't fix that. A polariser might. Mother in law was diagnosed with it about 15 years ago I think. She has just had the surgery where they insert electrodes into the brain and a battery pack thing under the shoulder. Has helped her shakes heaps, though her speech is slightly slurred now. Not a cure, but does improve quality of life.
