Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

I am not arguing that point, BiV pointed out that Fitz has had issues, which you seem to argue that he didn't. BiV's argument was that Earls/Trimble/Fitz didn't come through the age grades with a full skillset including passing/timing. I'm not even sure why he bothered with mentioning form as it ha...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

It's not the young players coming in now. It's the players in their mid to late 20s that have skills deficiencies due to the coaching they received through the grades. Kearney, Fitzgerald, Trimble, Earls, etc all have obvious weaknesses. The last three can run in a straight line and finish but when...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

Have to say Earls is a lucky boy if he's starting, Trimble could hardly do more to try and prove his worth at the minute while Earls has been distinctly :| with a few x( moments. Really feel we need Henderson in there somewhere though just to get him on the pitch as he's a monster. Try the second r...

Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread

BiV, Fitzgerald's passing is and always has been very good. I and others have been highlighting many instances of his good passing ever since grim (are you his straight laced alter ego?) claimed he couldn't pass. His run of poor form didn't last as long as some would think (8 months basically) and ...

Eddie has totally lost his marbles. EOS? How so? Had Ronan started last week he'd have kicked better and been no worse with ball in hand. He'd be number one this week then, no question. Does anyone know the correct way to train the biceps for increase in mass to it's maximum? I've got massive gains on every single body part, including other small body parts but this one. Unfortunately I can see Munster offering ROG a contract and it will have nothing to do with Penney either. ROG in Munster is still probably seen as having marketable value to the Munster board, this I think is the sad reality, I just hope they give him only a one year and not a two year.

Munster have Keatley and Hanrahan who are better 10s than O'Gara right now, and I'm sure I heard about another young lad knocking about their squad. Ryan and McCarthy aren't the biggest so expend more energy than a full fit POC would over the course of the game. POC would, traditionally, be going as strong on 75 mins as he was on 5 mins and that's what we lacked against Wales - players able to play the full 80. POC [fully fit] is as fine tuned ...
