Re: The Australian Politics Thread

BUMPED from page 6. AS you all know, I don't post on this thread. Much. However, something has arisen which is interwoven with the current rugby issue of which team should be dropped from SR. You probably already know about the dodgy sale of the brumbies griffith (ACT) real estate. You probably als...

Re: Superugby to be reduced to 15 teams.

Taking the emotion out of it, and sidelining the fact the Brumbies are Australia's most successful team. Why aren't they under the gun? I can understand NSW and Queensland being outside the scope because of their pedigree and history, traditional rugby nurseries, but shouldn't all three remaining s...

I love that the Saffas are acting smug. You're losing two teams and the only reason the NZRU want to keep you in is so they can negate your advantage of playing at altitude

Re: Superugby to be reduced to 15 teams.

Considering the statement from the vice chair of RugbyWA, it seems likely that the ARU gets their financial modelling done by one of the real housewives of Mosman, squeezed between her yoga and Amway sessions. It would explain the 'reverse funnel' revenue model they're relying on anyway. If you loo...

Re: Superugby to be reduced to 15 teams.

The Stormers vs Chiefs match remind me of what the S14 really was. S12 was the best option. 4 teams each. Full stop. So cut the Blues yeah? Would SANZAAR be willing to cut ties with a financial stable franchise in one of the biggest rugby nurseries in the game, home to arguably the strongest school...

I value a wealth of viewpoints, and quite like SONs posts, even if I disagree with their content. Silver's are hilarious, as he's a master troll.

However, whenever DAC posts I hear a dull droning in my head. As such, I'm reserving my right to post a Vuvuzella whenever he starts a thread.

I think Australian Rugby could go solo and develop a wholly domestic, 2nd tier comp. The reason for this is that initially the comp might not earn the ARU as much ...
