Update: With the windchill last night it got almost to -40. How long is your DSL cable from the router to the phone socket? All 3 tried are standard 3 foot connections I would ask your neighbours if they have the same provider and if they are experiencing the same issues. I work in network engineering and I have seen a lot of the time it can be a bottleneck...
