Re: Is this the end of Rugby?
Yet the downfall of Australian rugby makes my dick hard There is the problem with kiwis. Happy to cut their nose off to spite their face. He’s not the majority. Firstly I want Australia to be in a much stronger position for Australia. But it also helps us and is very much needed. Australia can get ...

Re: Is this the end of Rugby?
I don’t think it’s a given running rugby needs to result in tries. It’s probably preferable but not particularly necessary. It's definitely not going to win any more fans considering the world cup is heading to America soon. Nobody wants to watch boring rugby If you found that game boring then you ...

Re: Fozzie: The axe falls.
I'm gonna be honest, my first feeling was relief on the final whistle. There's obviously disappointment too, but I'm glad it's finally over. I'm very proud of the second half effort, but unfortunately the first half had all the worst hallmarks of the Foster era: abysmal discipline and a slow start....

Re: Fozzie: The axe falls.
Foster made zero tactical changes early in the piece too. We're could have used some Dmac magic, BB and Jordan were offering nothing. He should of had Roigard and Leicester in the reserves to add some punch and Samisone was brought in too late to make any difference, when Sam Whitlock came on he loo...

Re: Fozzie: The axe falls.
As a parting comment, I never got the Foster hate. He was a guy who was promoted above his abilities, it happens. The real angst I had was with the NZRU, who must have known in the first year of Foster's tenure he and the coaching team he'd picked weren't all they could be. A win today might have b...

Re: Is this the end of Rugby?
Yeah and it’s dogshit. The high quality product you admire is just a mashed up ball of processed shite, 90% advertising breaks and blathering with some sports sprinkled in. I don't care that you don't like NFL. It’s just nuts to me that someone can think such slop is high quality is all I’m trying ...

Re: Is this the end of Rugby?
It’s unwatchable unless in highlight form. Ball in play for I think for 8 mins on average in a 3 hour+ broadcast. Not for me NFL didn't pretend to be free flowing like rugby, it's supposed to be like that. Yeah and it’s dogshit. The high quality product you admire is just a mashed up ball of proces...

Re: Is this the end of Rugby?
NFL is 1000 times worse. Maybe the only way for such a chaotic game with dozens of 50/50 calls to operate is for it to devolve into a stop-start turns based shitfest like American football The rules are much clearer in NFL and the product is of higher quality. It’s unwatchable unless in highlight f...

Re: Is this the end of Rugby?
It's become apparent that the rules and officiating have taken the game down the slippery slope of being damn near unwatchable. Surely this spells the end of the greatness of this game. Whereas you can have a team that plays only one back reserve winning a RWC final, because officiating can reduce ...

Re: 2023 Rugby World Cup Final Match Thread - NZ Vs South Africa
Ok I see what you mean. Yes, they were relatively easy. Savea is a Hurricanes man, it's in his DNA to go for the try. I thought it was the right decision in real time. SA were down a man and the ABs were 6 points down. Yeah I thought it was the decision at the time too. But it was also risky, and w...

The turning point was when kolisi went off and u could tell they had no attacking structure by the way the played the 2015 style pod system. It lacked creativity and imagination. The one thing about Ireland and their style of play is that everybody plays the system to a tee and every player is in mo...

Normally I get nervous before a RWC Final or test match for that matter.
However, Ian foster has conditioned me not to feel anything and I feel rather calm and sombre before a final. Very strange

I know why Foster chose Samisone over Dane. But I don't trust our lineout with Samisone. He could potentially cost us the game if the lineouts are Shakey, I suspect the Boks will be keen to kick into touch as much as they can We’ve got the best lineout in the tournament, he will be and has been fin...
