Re: The Official Irish Rugby Thread
I'll take the championship, a lot of warning signs/things to address with the team. Winning it instead of falling to 3rd/4th? Can't complain. Harry squandered his chance to stay in the reckoning. We'll see if Leinster favour Ross 100% now. Crowley was alright, but his kciking from the tee can be mu...

Nedd to inject a bit of pace to the game, very nervy looking and a bit pedestrian.

I'm very worried now. They're going to launch high ball after high ball at Larmour all afternoon :uhoh: If they do that'll be a total change of the game they expected to play Kinghorn, Steyn and VDM will have a field day if they do it though. Just need to keep the ball away from.them so. Easy

Outside of Gleeson and Gavin I’m not sure who’s odds on to make it as a provincial starter level pro out of this batch. BOC would need to iron a LOT of kinks out of his game. Has upside though given size and athleticism. EOC is a really good player but not convinced he’ll progress for some reason (...

Backrow have a lot to prove this week as a unit. As others have agreed with me on the need for pace in the backline, it'll be interesting to see how things develop on that front post 6nations. I imagine it'll develop with our first choice players returning. Ahern and Baird to be converted to wingers.

Casey gets a lot of stick on here for his kicking and to be fair it's not half as bad as some make out, has a decent enough boot and often hits halfway from the 22, I'd much prefer if his decision making was a bit quicker however that will come with playing more international games, not being the wa...

Murray shouldn't have been on the bench, and he shouldn't have gone for a 6-2 split. If Ringrose had come onto the wing for Nash, we'd have won imo.
